Todd
Todd Mehlhopt worked as a sole trader in glass before he started Gurus of Glass in 2015. He started it because he could see how the industry treated people, and he thought a glass business could be run better than that.
Ten years later he still quotes the jobs himself. He is the one who turns up to measure your pool surround, and he is the one who tells you if the thing you are asking for is not the right spend on your particular property.

Our focus stays on frameless glass rather than tubular steel or anything with a post between every panel. That’s a positioning choice, not a gap. We’re here for the homes where the view is the reason the house exists.
How we work
Plenty of glass businesses service this coast from out of town. It works fine right up until something needs looking at, and then a long drive becomes the reason it takes three weeks. Being local is not a slogan here, it is why we can measure your job this week and install it about two weeks later.

We make it to your measurements. Nothing is off a shelf, because no two pool surrounds or staircases on this coast are the same.
The same crew installs it.
You get documentation. A Form 15 compliance certificate on completion, and a ten year warranty covering faulty supplies and installation faults.
What we will tell you that others might not
Three things come up often enough to put in writing.
Frameless is not always the right spend. On a run down a side boundary that nobody looks at, it earns very little. We will say so, and we would rather lose that part of the job than sell you something that does nothing for you.
Hardware grade is specified to your address, not the suburb. A house on open water and a house four streets back are in different environments, and quoting them the same way is either overcharging one or underspecifying the other.
The site visit is not a formality. What is under your pool surround decides how the fence is fixed, and that is not something anyone can see in a photo. It is why we do not quote off images.

Yes. QBCC licence 151432743. Every installation comes with a Form 15 compliance certificate on completion.
